Program Overview

The DevOps on AWS track is designed to equip students with essential skills for automating, deploying, and monitoring cloud-based applications using AWS-native tools. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience in containerization, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, and security best practices. This course ensures apprentices are job-ready and capable of working in enterprise cloud environments.

  • Learning Phase:  8 Weeks
  • Apprenticeship: 6 Weeks

No, the course focuses solely on AWS-native tools. Third party tools are important and will be covered in a separate course to provide the level of detail they deserve with updates on current industry trends around containers and serverless.

No, there’s no extra cost. As long as you’ve completed the required training and certifications, this track is included in your student journey.

The course runs two days a week—Mondays and Fridays—from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST, for a total of 4 hours per week.

The full track spans 8 weeks of learning, followed by 6 weeks of apprenticeship, and wraps with 2 weeks of AWS DevOps certification preparation.

Yes, as long as you’ve met the prerequisites (Lnx For Jobs, RHCSA, Security+, and Apprenticeship/Career Coaching), you can enroll even while completing your apprenticeship.
