The DevOps on AWS track is designed to equip students with essential skills for automating, deploying, and monitoring cloud-based applications using AWS-native tools. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience in containerization, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, and security best practices. This course ensures apprentices are job-ready and capable of working in enterprise cloud environments.

Basic AWS knowledge, Linux fundamentals, and some scripting experience are recommended.

What’s the schedule like for this track?
The course runs two days a week—Mondays and Fridays—from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST, for a total of 4 hours per week.
How long does the track take to complete?
The full track spans 8 weeks of learning, followed by 6 weeks of apprenticeship, and wraps with 2 weeks of AWS DevOps certification preparation.
Can I take this track while I’m still in my apprenticeship?
Yes, as long as you’ve met the prerequisites (Lnx For Jobs, RHCSA, Security+, and Apprenticeship/Career Coaching), you can enroll even while completing your apprenticeship.
Do I need previous DevOps or AWS experience?
Not at all. This track is designed to build your skills from the ground up—based on what you’ve already learned in the core program.

Absolutely. You’ll have access to instructors, resources, and your community to help reinforce the concepts between sessions.
