I’m JV and today I share a day in my life with you as a Yellow Tail student. Usually, I start my day doing the usual stuff.
Brushing my teeth, changing into my uniform, and preparing for work. I usually leave around 6:50 and it takes about 45 minutes with traffic close to an hour.
I work at Orthopedic and Wellness as a medical assistant. I’ve been working here for 12 years. It’s a great company, learned so much, great friends. I usually use the surgery center entrance. Once I get in, typically on a Friday, it’s procedure day. I get in and set up the room. Sit up on the table, put my legs on and then we start doing procedures.
Around 4 o’clock, I go home, I get home around 5 o’clock, and go straight to my workspace to study. I love the class hours, 7 to 9. I always make sure that I’m able to sit in front of the computer around 6:30.
Then when the class starts at 7, it’s game time. Classes finish at 9 o’clock, and the great thing about Yellow Tail, even though we miss something or you still have questions afterward, Yellow Tail has recordings of all classes.
When you finish all your courses, you take your exam, pass your exam and they’ll get you going with the internship program. That program gets you ready for the real world at times even the students or the coworkers get together and do reviews together and we have happy hours. You get to have fun while you’re learning.
Everything is clear, and all the information is straightforward. I love how they take care of us every step of the way and how they’ve been providing all the help that they can give us to succeed as a red hat, Linux system administrator.
This was a day as a student at Yellow Tail. I hope you enjoyed it. It was my pleasure to share my experience with you. But today I am proud to tell you, I am an official Red Hat Certified Linux Administrator.
It was fun, it was good, and I stick to it. The internship was awesome. It tells you everything you need to know. It gets you ready for the world out there. Everything. Also, the mock interview prepares you to face all the interviews that you’re gonna be facing. And also to help you with your resume.
I was able to be on track and stay on track, even though I had my doubts. But if you follow the rules and you follow the steps and if you believe in the journey, everything will be all right. Once again, my name is King Bernard, Red Hat certified.
